A nice story

My husband got a call last night from a friend asking for his help to change a flat tire down the road at the Mariscos Restaurants. Just after he got there the local police stopped to see what was going on. Satisfied with the story they left. Soon the 2 working on the tire discovered the jack did not work and ours did not fit under our friend’s vehicle. Nothing was working. The police passed by again on their patrol and could see these 2 old farts needed assistance. They crawled under the vehicle in their uniforms, jimmy rigged the jacks AND stayed to help change the tire. Neither gringo spoke Spanish and neither cop spoke English but the job got done!

Thanks for showing this story. I suspect if more good news stories like this involving the police were made public it would change how many of us incorrectly lump all the police into one bad story and may in fact change many of their behaviors to more positive ones like this.
