CJNG Signs in Guad

This am there were six CJNG signs in Guadalajara stating that they are the most powerful and will rid
and kill many of the Powerful and Police to "clean Guadalajara".

None of this was reported on TV or the Informador. As said before Journalists and TV are scared of
the Narco Groups

Baloney,I watched GDLNoticias this morning and they were reporting on the cjng cartel activities just like they do on a regular basis.

My wife and I turned on GDL Noticias at 6am and neither one of us remember any reporting of this activity.
The street rumors are that the Police are saying the same as you,
that all of this activity is to be ignored. This CJNG activity may have been the source of the State Dept warning a few days ago.
We will see if the Informador publishes anything.

THE FACT remains CJNG activity is here. The fastest growing cartel in Mexico, and we will probably be experiencing a lot of violence.

There were two separate  reports on cartel activities this morning on GDL Noticias,and 4 or 5 articles in the Informador,they report on this stuff all the time.

I also heard about the narcomantas (sp?) this morning from a radio news source, then later my Spanish teacher (who lives in Guadalajara and commutes to Ajijic) asked me this afternoon if I'd heard about it.

Of course it's in the news.

Yes it's disturbing. But that's entirely the point. The QUESTION, easylife, is: why would anybody be surprised that "CJNG activity is here"?

There was a lengthy and substantive article in "El Economista" yesterday about the CJNG, so I guess some periodicos are writing about them, defying the fear factor.
I think the reporter was a Monroy.

I believe the BprderlandBeat News was started by and is owned by  an American called "Buggs"  , and is published in English

I cannot see any reason to identify as being part of the Mexican Media.
But, this rhetoric diminishes the real story. JCNG is and has been making "moves" in Jalisco, along with expansion in other parts of Mexico

Like I said earlier, I first heard about it on the radio Tuesday morning, and it was very likely via notisistema. I don't know why easylife keeps suggesting that CJNG activity is something only now arriving, or that it's not talked about in the Mexican media. You'd have to have been living under a rock for the last couple of years to thi--…….oh. Never mind.

If for no other reason than insulting the Mexican media and journalists that risk their lives everyday reporting the news that this idiot calls "kool-aid".  I'm an avid reader and I can hardly keep up with all the reporting done on radio, TV, and print here in Mexico about the drug situation.
.....but I am a slower a reader in  Spanish so that may be part of the problem for keeping up.
