Just Chillin'

John and I had lunch today at Just Chillin" and we loved it! Great food, great drinks, very reasonable prices and wonderful friendly service. They are located on the West side of Ajijic on the South side of the carretarra just East of Yves Restaurant.  

I agree. I have been there several time, once on a Sunday and it was packed, and the 20 pesos wine for a full big glass is a real bargain and the wine is good. Best tacos in town with home made corn tortillas.

It was an awesome party there on NYE. The kids running the place are terrific and really know about customer service.

Is Yuki working there?  She used to work at the previous Frida Azul and Paradise 60.  She is one of the best waitresses lakeside.

Yuki and her husband are running the restaurant taking part of the former Piano Rojo space.

And who would not have a major LOL when a restaurant gets a complaint from somebody on TOB who was offended by the touchin', huggin' young lady  and their response of putting a marker and a board for voting for your choice of "friendly", "very friendly" or "unfriendly" service?  Love 'em!

Ah folks give em a break. Folks from Maine (Real Yankees) don't hug much and when you do the eyes pop out like a cartoon. Oh I love my relatives. Moved to the west coast decades ago and remember my first random hug from fellow hippie types. Probably my eyes popped out also laugh here. The kissie kissie thing got me also. Now don't think anything about it. The Latin attitude is much more healthy than the God don't touch me attitude that I was brought up with. Even Mom the old yankee lady with four cats hugs now after 30 years on the west coast. If my family can change anyone can.
