Pool Blanket Empty Pool Blanket

Post by SunFan Sat Nov 08, 2014 8:21 am

Thanks to encouragement from CanukBob and even Pedro I have Al Young whipping up a custom built pool blanket reel. Now I need a replacement Blanket.

I'm told you're just as well off buying an inexpensive blanket. The price premium you pay for the top quality doesn't pay off in terms of significantly longer service life. Any experience with this?

Secondly, who's a good source for the best price here at Lakeside?

TIA

That has been my experience. I've tried both the basic grade and the heavier grade and both last no longer than two years on my pool. I store the cover protected from the sun when not needed for about 7 months per year.

They still only go a couple of years.
