IMSS Renewal info

I understand the IMSS renewal process for Chapala has changed. Has anyone renewed since the change and what is the process if you have.
I will be away most of October which is my renewal month and need to know what to do ASAP.

We just renewed our IMSS the first week of September using a facilitator. We had to take a copy of my husband's Residente Permanente and a copy of the letter I was given that I'm in the process of getting my Res. Permanente. While there we signed a document in the presence of the IMSS clerk. To the best of my knowledge, that was the only change.

Was the renewal done in Chapala or Guadalajara? I do my own.

It was done in Chapala. Our facilitator is or has taken our money for the fees to Guadalajara. Also, there was a change in the fee structure. We're both over 70 and the fee for each of us was $4600.

Thanks for the info. That is a huge jump in cost.
Since I do my IMSS myself it still does not give me the info I need to execute the renewal. If someone has done their own renewal could you please respond.
