# 3 Oregon vs #7 Michigan State

Opening kick off @ 5:30 today on Fox.

Great game. Oregon did very well. So did we just north of Oregon at the University of Washington.   I hate to admit it though, if I were a betting man, that I would have to say Oregon is better than WA.

It's just that it's so hard to admit :) Especially because I can see the UW campus from my condo. (sadly, not the stadium) and looking the other way we can see the Seahawks stadium, (Not the field darn it, but the stadium.)

I really thought Michigan St. would ruin our Duck season.   Today they beat a bigger team, and dominated on defense.  I think they might be the real deal this year.

Defense?  That's an unused, not understood word up in Pete's backyard? of Seattle.
Huskies were involved in a game today where over 1,100 yards were racked up.
What defense?  I guess they live by the old adage "that the best defense is a good offense".

Dawgs team is Bama, rated #2, Oregon ranked  #3!       No offense Pete, Huskies are just "RANK"

Had a little trouble keeping people in the Couve and Portland focused on work and not the game today. Lotsa Ducks flags flying...

We just returned from a great fishing trip. When I left Oregon had jumped ahead of Bama to # 2 in the National Rankings.

And they are still there.
Don't know how your luck was fishing but the maybe the football gods will smile on you and the Ducks in the polls after this weekend as Florida St. has lost their Heisman trophy winning QB and they are playing an angry, revenge minded, very good Clemson Tiger team.

Jameis is lost only for the 1st half.

I don't really care.........the Oregon Ducks have been top rated for many years now. Proud that they prevail, year after year. Obviously a great program they have built in Eugene Oregon.

You mean rich people built laugh out loud. UO sure does have a good sugar daddy.
