Top Refrigerator Brands in Mexico

My refrigerator is only five years old and works great, but I've decided I want a larger one 23-25 cu ft with a bottom freezer.  I've looked at Tio Sam's on the Libro and looked at websites for Sears, Costco and Sam's.  Basically have found GE Profile, Mabe and LG.  Claudia, at Tio Sam's, said they don't sell LG because there service is not good.  Appreciate help from your experience with the various brands.

I am very happy with the "side by side" GE I bought from Tio Sam's.

I have the GE profile with the bottom freezer and if I had to  buy another I would buy a side by side freezer. I find the freezer drawer to small. Great fridge but with a freezer too small for us and not practical. I always have 3 or 4 types of stocks on hand and that leaves very little room for meat and everything is on top of everything. I would not buy another freezer drawer.

In exactly two years in three separate repairs I've had a pump, a fan and a sensor replaced. Approximately 4,000 pesos plus the freezer full of Costco steaks that were ruined/given away.

Thanks for the input.  I'm no more clear that there is a superior brand than I was before.  I thought I really wanted the bottom drawer.  I never did like my side by side because I had a hard time seeing what was behind the front of each freezer shelve.  I've heard negative and positive about GE Profile.  Guess it is a crap shoot.  I will say that my Maytag has never had a problem...wish it was larger and I'd just keep what i have.  Thanks again...really appreciate the input.

We have a GE profile with two bottom drawer freezers and double doors on the fridge.
No problems in 2.5 years of operation.
