Farm Land
Anyone have any suggestions on where might be a good place to start looking/researching for a couple of acres of inexpensive farm land not too far from Lake Chapala area?

Re: Farm Land
What's your definition of inexpensive?
You might be surprised at the cost of farm land around here.

Re: Farm Land
South side of the lake is where I would start for cheaper land. Just be aware of potential Ejido (sp) issues on some land.
Re: Farm Land
You want to farm it or live on it. If it's in use it's probably private and expensive. If hardly used it may still be Ejido. I assume you need water and power and that can cost.
There's a gringo down here that leases Ejido land (20 hectares) and grows watermelon every year
