What Plane is Flying Over Your House

This is very interesting and it picks up your ISP and brings up Mexico maps. We flew last week and flew over the eastern corner of the lake, first time to do that for us and the lake is huge from the sky, I saw a plane flying over the same place yesterday.

Have you ever wondered where that plane flying over head is going and what type of aircraft?

Every day you see planes in the sky, sometimes very high, with or without com-trails. We often ask ourselves these questions:

What type of plane, Airbus A320,330, Boeing 727, 747 or some other manufacturer, where did it come from, where is it going, what altitude, what speed, what airline, etc.. Well, now you can see all this information instantly on your laptop screen

You are also going to be blown away when you see how many aircraft are flying in your area.

Here is a note to help you get more out of your visit to this site:

These are all the aircraft in the air right now. In the left hand column, there is a box called "planes". The number in the box is the number of aircraft airborne. This view is what the various airport air traffic management people see for planning purposes.

Some additional tricks:

Drag the map to take you to the area you want to view

To view your region or town, you can zoom in by tapping with your Mouse. On the map you will see all the planes in the air. When you click on an airplane, on the left screen you will get all the
information related to; airline, plane type, air speed, altitude in real time that is re-calculated every 10 seconds. On some you can also click on view from the cockpit

Good! I thought maybe we were heading towards some conspiracy theories.

As most of us have friends/family flying to/from NOB, try www.flightaware.com and you can track your friends/family flights, arrivals, delays etc. Works on much of the world.

what I cant understand is how with this easy system , they couldn't keep track of the air Malaysia flight which has disappeared. does this need the transponder to be on at all times, which I believe was switched off.

There are some hoaxes right now. I was reading that a drone or quadcopter club, flying at night with bright L.E.D.S. had a formation flying as the lights of a Concorde - which hasn't flown for at least ten years now. Ghost plane!

I have a hard time believing they are drones but anything is possible.

Just yesterday, the town of Deer Trail, CO voted down the proposal to issue drone hunting permits.

A contrail dissipates rapidly as the plane flys away. A chemtrail remains in the air long after the plane is gone, usually leaving a long trail of puffy looking cloudlike balls. Next time you see an airplane overhead check it out.

What type of "contrail" is left behind by a cheesecake?

Also, chemtrails are associated with GMO corn...contrails, not so much.

I have a quadcopter that takes photos or movies .........$ 100 on ebay .....still learning how to fly in small spaces .... 7 min flight time .....cool toy
