Where is the best store to purchase a new propane tank? Prices seem to be all over the place.

If you mean the 20 Lb BBQ tanks - the propane place on the Carreterra in Ajijic charges MX$ 750.00 for a new one - filled.

Go to Mercado Libre Mexico and search for ''Tanque Estacionario''. You'll soon figure out the going prices for the size that you want and then you can make your purchase knowing you paid the fair price.
