Broken Window Replacement

I am looking for suggestions as to who to get to replace some broken glass in a window in Chapala centro.

I tried the large glass shop on the opposite corner from Coppel in Chapala , made an appointment, but they never showed or called to explain why they stood me up. They only get one chance.

I used the glass/framing store on the west side of Madero near the bus station to replace a glass slider with excellent results.

Now on the same sort of topic, has anyone had an "insurance claim" windshield repaired around here anywhere? Mine got a rock crack which I am about to claim for.

Yes. But it did require a trip to Guad for replacement.

So no auto body shop around the lake is authorized to do windshield replacements for insurance companies?

In our case the insurance company told us to go to Robo in Guadalajara.  It's by appointment, they did an excellent job.

According to Parker Insurance, no.

What about a chip, is there any place which fills it as they do NOB?

The only one I know is on Av. Mexico, near Terranova, in Guad.  Used them a couple or times with excellent results.

Sounds like an excellent business opportunity for some glass or auto body shop out there.
