On TOB, the owner/partner/or whatever is claiming that the recently relocated and renamed Ajijic Meat Center is claiming to be selling "prime rib eye ground beef for 125 pesos kilo". IF, my calculations are correct, that works out to $4.50USD+/- per pound? If it is truly USDA Prime, a line would be formed many miles long at that price here in Albuquerque. I do take notice of the fact that he doesn't provide the fat percentage. Like many others, I remember purchasing ground beef at Costco Mexico back in the early 2000's and the fat content was so low that one couldn't come close to producing a decent burger.
