Interesting New Product Find

During our recent Mexico trip, we spent part of a day at the ENART Show in Tlaquepaque. Admittedly this product may not be totally new but we had never stumbled across them before. These are manufactured in Michoacán and sold through their company location in Morelia:

The above three are what we chose to purchase but they have literally 100's of various wood carving styles adorned with milagros.

Just joking here but the milagros seem a bit of a let down on the skull.

Never claimed that we had common or average tastes! I cannot explain it but these products jumped out at us for some reason. The first skull was for us but the smaller skull and father were purchased as presents for friends. While hardly necessary, the jaws on the two skulls are hinged and the mouths do open.
