Walkie Talkies Lakeside?

Bought 2 sets for wife and grand kids for around the ranch these have a 36 mile radius. They have camo option too. Saved some money on minutes. Even my techie wife likes them! Thought this might be a nice option for around Lakeside. Anybody know if you can pick up the truckers on them? I can pick up the truckers here on our hi ways, already kept from getting a ticket.

Always amazes me that two talkies come with one charging stand. Unless you get a car charger (as pictured with the one above), you have to be living with the person you want to walkie with. Or is that how the manufacturers get you to buy a real set?

That's correct however like a cell phone they keep a charge, Still have cell phone, android and tablet and of course a computer. Also neighbors on the other ranch have talkies too. Hell we monitor the fire, police and EMS with my scanner out in the man cave. Also on the android have a scanner an APP and monitor while driving in the city during rush hour.

Or is that how the manufacturers get you to buy a real set?

As a matter of fact some do use them and the wrecker drivers.. I talk to a buddie of mine, he knows us who have them., and he tells us about bad wrecks on the RR's and counties or US state hwy's.
