In that case, moving to Lakeside is good for your health! However, we also have a lot of busy dermatologists taking care of the negative consequences of too much sunlight on the skins of lighter foreigners. Yep. Just the usual round of freezing and cutting that's been going on for years. When we met, he was foolishly proud of being the local "brownie of the year", suntan wise. Dumb. When I was a pup, tan was a must, but I've been lucky so far on the after effects. So, years later, the tans are being paid for on the "installment plan."

What's really funny about it all is light skinned people looking down on dark skinned ones in some places (like Mexico) and meanwhile, the supertan US POTUS, gets grief over his color from some quarters. Go figure.
