If someone moves here what is the best way to set up the process of being cremated if they die here?

Go to the Lake Chapala Society. They have a post life program that takes care of everything. It's excellent and saves your friends and family here and in the US a lot of trouble. You don't have to be a member of LCS to participate in the program. You will be very glad you did.

Yep and don't forget instructions for your pets and be sure folks to be notified in US/Canada of your death have passports if they need to come down here and settle
your estate.
