ordering alcohol based inks

Has anyone ordered alcohol based inks (paints) online and had them shipped to MX? I know that there would be a immigration fee, but my question is, would it still be shipped down here? I'm thinking of ordering 8 colors and a bottle of extender.

Any thoughts on this?

If they are shipped via US mail/Mexican mail the brokerage fees should be minimal. If they are shipped via courier the brokerage fees will be higher and dependant on the value of the goods (likely around $50.00 USD). If the inks are manufactured in the US or Canada there shouldn't be any duties on them. If they are manufactured elsewhere there will likely be some duties. You could call a brokerage firm for advice.

I know I'll have fees to pay, what ever they are, but I was wondering IF they would be allowed acorss the border.

Can't see any reason why not however you could check with a customs broker. You may even be able to find the info on the internet.
