Banned again on TOB

Why, I had an opinion, got blamed for it and when I defended myself against the perpetrator of this foul accusation was summarily banned. This makes twice.

Sorry for my ignorance what is TOB?

I just looked over there and can't find what you posted. Once they locked the thread, I gather they clipped your input as well....and I'm curious.........because I can't remember anything anyone said that was that far out of line.

It now takes something "far out of line" to get you banned over there? When did that rational reaction get instated?

This was the comment that started a one sentence defense, and a suggestion that the post did not need a reply.

I agree about the facts. That post yesterday devolved into a shouting match thanks to Cracker.

An explanation.
1. SOME people started going off topic on the subject that this was our war. I disagreed. One comprehension challenged poster started in with a completely and totally incorrect interpretation. The our war post is still there BTW.
2. Today, as posted, another comprehension challenged poster, blamed it all on me.

Helping out newbies and correcting misinformation. will definitely get you a good swift boot in the rear.

End result, gringal is now alone in her continuing efforts to help straighten out all the misinformation on TOB, it's a tough road, good luck.

About the "our war" business: Maybe some people have a reading comprehension problem. Unless we're citizens and can raise hell.........it AIN'T our war. We can't very well send in Gravy and the old Leathernecks. How's that for an image? He is a cool guy, though.

I hope the Mexicans can sort this one out so innocent bystanders need not fear for their lives. This is a sorry situation.

They've got some real whiney types over there that will run to the moderator if they feel they're being picked on....even if they really aren't.

BTW, I have left myself signed in over there, after sending moderator 2 a couple of messages about the deletion and banning processes. No secret that I used to be a former moderator, and I really hated messages like that. You had to think about those ones really carefully. Guess the dude's inbox is full. Lots of people want opinions, just not the board owner, he doesn't want any of those cluttering up his pristine little corner of the internet.

Does that mean that as long as you are signed in, they cannot process the banning?

Kip, ain't that the truth. At one time I had a minimum of 30 messages in my inbox every single day. Most of them from the forum whiners. What's worse they'd send copies to every moderator, so nobody knew what to do. That led to endless discussions on the moderators forum. 10 freaking hours a day, 7 freaking days a week.

Nope, it's just for irritation purposes.
When people see I've been banned, they're going to wonder why I'm still signed in.

While I self-banned myself on TOB a number of years back, I did have a couple of "alternative names" just in case. These aliases were "loaned" out to former members when they were banned but those two are now firmly entrenched on the "death sentence list".

Well there's no real secret, in fact if I wanted to I could reinstate myself in about 7 minutes. Soooo, how about wisecracker, or ritzy, maybe crackpipe, nahhhhh, too obvious. Anyhow, I'd have to sign out, get a new I.P. and use that brand new never been used throwaway email address.

robe with my skull cap on. One of the moderators sent me a note
that if anybody was offended by my picture that I would be banned.
I guess I am not allowed to be jewish. Hmmmm think people are banned
for wearing a christ symbol like a cross? They completely denied it but
I do get even sending people to alternative real estate offices. Not even
a email back from my complaint so what am I to think? So could they
be closet bigots or was the moderator culturally that ignorant?

You have got to be kidding. Sounds pretty ignorant to me. Did some doofus actually say they were offended? I like the revenge part a whole lot!!!!!

Try being a moderator/administrator on a forum where the owner/administrator berates you both publicly and privately for efforts put forth. That sure was a fun experience!

Well, g-gal, I haven't been banned yet.... of course I very seldom visit anymore. My closest "claim to fame" is having had my post deleted for having the audacity to ask a question. Not much notoriety there, I'm afraid. Sigh Lizzy
