I don't know how they get the bacon so crisp!  Great maple glaze, too.

When I saw the Maple-Bacon donuts I thought: gonna be a mess to eat, but the bacon is super crispy and embedded in maple frosting.

I've had this flavor combo in past in ice cream; it really works!

Speaking of ice cream, have you tried Charmed Life? I’m totally hooked on their regular kind because they have unusual flavors like Jelly Donut, Chocolate Sponge Twirl, Fudgsicle, etc. Creamsicle is another fave.

Have not tried Charmed Life. Have bought Honey Scoop brand (from Guadalajara) at El Torito which has some interesting combos. Salty Pretzel in Peanut Butter Ice Cream is in my freezer now. I don't eat a lot of dairy these days so it takes awhile to go through even a small carton.
