From Mexico News Daily......

Mexico announced an official bid for the 2036 or 2040 Olympic Games, with Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard describing Mexico as a "winning, successful, ambitious country", while noting that 15 years would be sufficient time to organize for the massive event.
