What restaurants have a good vegetarian takeout for a pot luck

Where are the Indian restaurants?

One is in Bugambilias Plaza in Ajijic.

One is in the Food Court at Laguna Mall.

There is one in Chapala, but don't know where.

The one in the Mall Food Court has excellent dishes. Good rice, and a deep fried onion that is totally digestible! Naan bread is usually just right and the mixed veggie selection is tasty. Generous portions and very fair prices.

I found a good vegetarian takeout at Ajijic Tango.

Chicken, beef and pork are served extensively there but their rice is vegetarian.

Yes, like most restaurants they have a lot of meat products. But they specifically say "ask for vegan dishes" on their sign. Like I said, there are usually 3-4 every day. Vegan is also vegeterian, fyi.

But when it comes to food selection, all vegetarians can eat anything vegan. The reverse is not true. So if there are vegan items on a menu, any vegetarian can eat them.

cypress Indian rstaurants have vegetarian and vegan cuisine because part of their population do not eat meat, if you cannot find vegan or vegetarian food in most indian restaurants you are not looking very hard.

Ajijic Tango was perfect.

We were at the Indian Place yesterday. In addition to their chicken and pork dishes, they had a lentil, a chana, a mixed veg and a palak (spinach) on offer. BTW Cypress, Tango serves a lot of meat too lol.

No meat in the dishes I got from Tango.

One more delicious option again... Magnolias Indian Cuisine is back for TAKE-OUT ONLY.

New location in eastern Riberas. You can call/text from their WhatsApp. We just had some the other day and it was muy delicioso!!

Doppio Cafe is 257, so somewhere a bit east of there..gourmet garage is 156..

I am glad they moved - it was too difficult at their Chapala location.

But back to the question - Chopstick's veg spring rolls (fresh or fired) are so tasty & her peanut sauce, other sauces are so wonderful..

We like Chopsticks! The restaurant is clean and food well prepared. Owners are friendly and polite. The homemade ice cream is great.

I love Chopsticks too. Betty is soooo nice.

I also am a Chopsticks fan. However I also love Indian Food so I will be checking out Magnolia's. In a PERFECT world, Chopsticks would also deliver. Sigh. Parking is getting to be a bitch in Betty's location.

I thought they used Traitte or another delivery. I’ll check.

I checked their Facebook page and they do use Traitte. Never used Traitte personally but it’s an option.
