Looking for an awesome vet

I’ve been to a few vets at Lakeside but I need a seasoned vet with superior knowledge that is good at diagnosis. I’m happy to go to Guad for that if need be. Not Ladron, thank you, they won’t see another centavo from me ever.

Too bad. Ladron is the best around here IMO.

As this shows awesomeness is in the eye of the beholder.

Cbob, I agree, best around here that I know of but I don’t want to go back so I need some alternatives.

I go to Dr. Daniel at DanVet next to Soriana in Chapala. He’s been my vet for five years. He is kind and caring and provides excellent care for my dogs and cats. He chooses the least invasive (and expensive) route whenever possible. He will refer to specialty vets in Guadalajara if he thinks it is necessary. I think his prices are very fair. A friend also goes to him and he treated her dog for cancer over a five-year period. He worked with her, listening to her thoughts and feelings about the course of treatments. They together decided when it was time to let the dog go.

What species? Just curious.

Completely agree here. Would only go when I knew Hector wasn’t there.

Hector spends most of his time in Guadalajara now a days.

Hector Ladrone is the best vet here, period. His people skills are poor and his prices are the highest, but, he is the best diagnostician , has the best equipment and a specialist surgeon on staff. This come from a long time dog breeder/ shower and stable owner. We've seen a lot of vets.
