TAR Airlines. I'm IMPRESSED!

I booked a flight from Guadalajara to Puerto Vallarta and screwed up the date of departure by not allowing enough time to catch a flight to Canada. Their customer service (in English) changed it to the day before for me without a problem and I had received the confirming e-mail before our five minute conversation was finished. Colour me IMPRESSED!I found out about this airline from a friend who takes a lot of trips to various beach destinations within Mexico. She and her husband have always had to fly from Guadalajara to Mexico City and then to the beaches from there. Not my idea of a fun time. TAR does a lot of flights going directly from Guadalajara and, as I said, gives excellent customer service. I will most definitely use them again. Thought I would share the info.

I'm flying WestJet direct to Toronto from Puerto Vallarta and back in the off season. I turned over heaven and earth to not have to fly out of Mexico City, to have a daytime flight and to not have to stop in the States. I'm thrilled with all of my arrangements. PVR is a lovely, small airport and I am very familiar with it.

Hit that sucker inbound from NOB at the wrong time and you're entering "the portals of hell". There's a stretch of automated walkway that's never worked for us in 9 years. Our standard arrival joke.
