Anyone interested in seeing Dave Matthews Band in Guadalajara on Oct. 3 at the Telmex Auditorium?

I am a Dave Matthews Band fan and we normally see them every year in WA state at the Gorge Amphitheater. One of my very few regrets about moving to Mexico is no more Labor Dave after going almost every year for 14 years at least as well as all the music festivals I will be missing:/ I just realized though that they are playing in Guadalajara in October so I am pretty danged happy:-) Even more exciting there are VERY good tickets still available!!!

Any other DMB fans out there that would like to go? Let me know if so and I can grab some tickets so we can sit together:-) Not sure if we would plan on staying in Guadalajara overnight or not. It is not a long drive although I know everyone says "don't drive at night":/ Would need a pet sitter if we go for overnight.

I usually take an Uber to/from the Telmex Auditorio. It is about 1 1/2 hours each way with all the congestion in/out.

I have a couple of buddies in Vancouver that used to go to Dave Matthew at the gorge for at least 14 year's, maybe longer. I was thinking of sending the ad to them.

I guess I actually have gone to every show at the Gorge since 1999 except 2014 when we went to Burning Man instead so for 20 years. Both events are on Labor Day weekend and at Burning Man the man burns on Saturday night of that weekend. I love Dave but Burning Man was absolutely worth missing one year of DMB:-)

I understand that Dave and Tim play in Cancun or somewhere in that direction in Feb every year. Probably will be the first time I make it to the Yucatan area!

I just heard back from one friend who says he may fly down for it if I go with him. I told him I need to know ASAP so if you can wait a couple of days I'll let you know. I may want two tickets.

Yeah, I wouldn't have thought Dave would ever play here but I thought the same thing with Brian Adams and it got sold out. The crowd sang along to every song.

We go to A LOT of concerts and some of them I am hesitant to go to sometimes because of whatever reason but the echos of the sounds of our life musically just pulls you right to positive happiness in about .000001 seconds:) Just saw Carlos Santana, Doobie Brothers, ZZ Top, and Steve Winwood in separate shows the last couple years and each concert was incredible fun with the whole audience joining in on nearly every single song....it was absolutely magical:-)

Well if you haven't already, get an account with ticket master Mexico and they will send you a weekly list of all the upcoming concerts. There have been a lot of good bands come through here the past couple of years. Scorpions, Def Lepard, Metallica, Roger Waters, Brian Adams, Phil Collins, etc.

No problem. I'm a big concert guy too although for some reason I never got into DM. I can't even name one of his songs. Hopefully I'll get to see what all the hype is about with him. The way people follow him reminds me of the Grateful Dead and all the "deadhead" fan's ......
