Just watched the US win all three places cheers on the podium for the first stage... 99.3 miles...over Monarch Pass (11,000+ ft) and then up again to Mt Crested Butte. Climbed some 6,000 ft... in just 4hrs45minutes.
We got it on VERSUS off the computer. This is a 7 day race; Mexico is not represented, but Colombia has two teams in. The Netherlands, France, Italy, Australia, and more have teams represented.
Can you guys get Versus Lakeside ?
Tomorrow... two 12,000 ft passes and 130 miles. Should be one helluva race. bounce Lizzy
