This is a newly discovered (for me) breakfast and lunch place on Hildago about 1/2 block east of the plaza. They had a nice eggs benedict (with real ham not processed) and a few other interesting items on the menu. I saw a Chili Cheese Dog...…...hmmmmmm.

I've eaten there many times.  Love their french toast, which is made with a cinnamon roll cooked on the griddle, instead of regular bread.  Delicious!  I haven't had a chance to try their lunch items, but I hope to do that soon. (one correction of Bob's post....it's half a block WEST of the plaza)

Yes Davids Cafe has great breakfast. I use to take my mom there back in 2006. I assume its still the same operators. Sadly, because of traffic congestion I rarely venture in to that area.
