Telcel out

I have experienced Telcel out twice this week and out today. Is this just the particular cell tower or is it more general?

My telcel is working in La Canacinta and was working at Walmart half an hour ago

It is very sporadic to none in Chula Vista. The climate is not the best either.

My Telcel cellphone is working here at home but earlier at Panino's I tried phoning the person next to me to check if it were working. I tried twice but he never received the call. Yet he had just received a call from someone else on his cell phone. Strange.

I was just in the US and have the plan Amigas Sin Limite which is supposed to work in the US and it has worked fine in the past in US. This time the whole trip I had no bars and no service. Called Telcel and chatted several times, no real explaination. I am guessing they have over extended their service and are not paying their carrier in the US.

This probably isn't related, but some folks have had trouble making local Telcel calls Lakeside as well. It is sort of like one of the Telcel Towers was out for a while.

Just called a friend on my telcel twice and calls did not go through. Sent a telcel text message and she got that and was able to return my call.
