Hospice Care

Is there such a thing Lakeside? I am aware of the individuals one can hire for home health assistance, but I am asking about Hospice care.

Not that I know of. I think one of the nursing homes sort of does it but I’m glad you asked. I would think it’s needed here and I might have to have something like it eventually. Looking forward to the answers.

There have been several attempts over the years to have a Hospice program here. They all failed due to lack of community support and/or poor to dishonest administration. The last attempt was such a mess that anyone trying hospice again is going to play hell getting trust.

Hospice care many times requires some very strong medication which may be heavily regulated in Mexico.  It is very hard to care for the terminally ill without the tools that are needed.
