Is there a means to change the channel for the Telmex Router/Modem?

Mercado Libre lists a number of new Telmex  DSL modems - the sellers say they are plug and play to replace your existing modem / router. I would like to purchase a spare as the last outage was 15 days to replace my modem. Does anyone have experience with purchase and instantiation  of these modems?

I ordered a Infinitum  modem from Mercado Libre (240 pesos) - plugged it in an it works right out of the box - no configuration required. The last modem problem I had took 16 days to resolve;  a working spare seems like good insurance.
