Upcoming power outage in Ajijic centro

I understand that they have only temporarily fixed the power pole that the garbage truck hit yesterday on the caraterra in Ajijic and they will be shutting down the power again on Monday to install a new pole. Just a heads up........

So did this take place in the part of the carretera that was recently redesigned.

I went to dinner at Gosha's yesterday. The next corner to the East is Galeana and the broken pole is just around the corner. The broken spot is sitting crookedly and stuck together with some device, so yes, the entire pole will need to be replaced. According to Carlos at Gosha's, it was a garbage truck that did the deed.

I sure hope they have this thing up and replaced before the NCAA Basketball Championship game Monday night. I've invested a lot of time and energy getting to this game this year!

No fake news there, but there's no accounting for some things that get a thumbs down, is there? Saw the busted pole with my own eyeballs.  Since Carlos' morning rush (full house) was rudely interrupted by the crash and he's right around the corner, I think it safe to assume he or one of the waiters dashed out to see what happened.
