ISO Long Term Rental - Ajijic
I am moving to Ajijic sometime this summer June-August from San Pancho, Nayarit. Would like to rent a 2br house with nice outdoor space, parking for one car - one year lease. Would prefer within walking distance to Plaza/Lake and something with Mexican character eg. Boveda ceilings etc. I have a well behaved dog. Retired single guy. Budget is around $700 USD +/-. Thanks.

Under the heading "Listings", you will see what you're looking for.
Imho, this is the best website for seeing what's available, where and pricing.
You didn't say whether you had a car.

Re: ISO Long Term Rental - Ajijic
Lived in San Pancho full time from 2005 to 2011. Glad to help.
If you check the section called "Leases expiring", it is the most interesting. It is contradictory in appearance because it will say "rented" on the pic but then will give the date that the lease is expiring. Renters MUST give a minimum of two months whether they are renewing or leaving. So, even if you find something there in the time frame that you're looking for, it doesn't mean that it will actually be available. Best to make contact and get your name on a waiting list for something that turns your crank so you won't be disappointed.
I liked everything about Casa Baron 3 in San Antonio. I'm not renting but like to see what's available. Best of luck to you.

Thanks so much! I love San Pancho but the heat for 4-5 mos. of the year is a bit too much for me!

And you wonder why I didn't ask you why you're leaving? Trust me, I get it!
