Richie is Carlos' brother and he walks my dogs for an hour every day Monday through Friday. He was also trained by Art Hess. He ain't cheap but, for me, it's worth it. Ginny Fuzzbucket tips the scales at 110 pounds now and is way too strong for me. I don't recover as easily from face plants on cobblestones as I used to.
The rest of their day is spent wrestling and chasing each other around/eating/sleeping. I have never had two dogs before but they have great fun together and keep me entertained as well as each other.

I've seen a car around that says Ajijic Dog Training or something like that. Know anything about them?

I have my dog walked Mon-Fri for an hourly daily. Also she goes for playdates 3 times weekly for 4 hours.

What does that cost, SD?

150 pesos for TWO dogs for an hour. And Richie is always on time which is important for me. When I went to Canada last September, my girls were able to stay with Richie and his wife and his two dogs as well. He sent me pics every couple of days and it made for one less thing for me to worry about.

I don't think that's expensive, Ferret! Please send his contact info and where does he live? Does he do play dates at his house with his dogs? Where does he walk the doggies?

I've been using Orson for the past year or more for play dates twice a week but for the second time he failed to pick my dog up and said he "forgot" after just texting he would be here. I don't think he needs my business. I need somebody I can depend on to show up.

He lives in Chapala but I don't know if he does playdates specifically because he also has the "rock" climbing business "Pachu Mama" (sp?) close to Min Wah.
He heads out in various directions from my house and walks them away for 30 minutes and then back by various other routes. That is what I wanted in case they ever got out accidentally, they would know how to find their way back.
At one point, when he was really busy, he used to take my girls to West Ajijic and walk them with another dog. That was fine except for the location. If something happened, they wouldn't have a clue where they were and would just be "lost". Ritchie understood completely... or maybe he thought I was nuts but he complied with my wishes.
My girls love him.
Ask him whatever you want to know. He is honest and forthright and prompt and a dog lover.

Ritchie just came and took mi perro for a ride then a walk up in Rancho del Oro with a few other doggies. The one in the back seat was a Great Dane puppy!
Nice guy, arrived on time, gave me 2 options for walks today, and he looks just like his brother!

BTW, the cell phone towers do not appear to be working correctly. I just tried to get hold of each of you separately and couldn't get through. It would appear communications are going to be hit and miss for a while.
Richie is so comfortable with all sizes of dogs and it really helps the dogs to socialize. My girls (60 lb and 110 lb) were walking with two very small dogs (each about 12 pounds) for a while and everybody got along just fine with Richie in command.

I think it's all ok now, your call to him came in as he was handing me back my doggie and we were planning for Friday. He probably called you back by now. Your call to me came in too but I was outside with Richie and missed it. No worries.
