Digital x-rays

Anyone know where I can get digital x-rays done lakeside? We had a set done at the Chapala Municipal Clinic and they gave us the film but the resolution isn't quite as good as digital. I know we can get them done in GDL but the trip is exhausting.

CARE is now Chopo, located in Clinica Maskaras, Riberas del Pilar.

Do any of these places do digital mammograms yet? The clinic in Chapala near Soriana no longer does mammograms.

El Gobierno Municipal de Chapala cuenta con el “Programa Permanente de Atención Temprana y Detección Oportuna de Cáncer de Mama”. Los próximos 4 y 5 de agosto a partir de las 9:00 horas se contará con la presencia de un módulo de móvil de detección que brindará servicio gratuito previo registro de las personas interesadas.
Adicionalmente, si se detecta alguna persona con algún grado de afección se le proporcionará atención y monitoreo permanente y sin costo.
El programa es coordinado por el Departamento de Participación y Vinculación Social y DIF Chapala gracias a la colaboración el Hospital Santa Catalina.

Thanks Wide Sky. I've heard of those mobile units. Sounds like I needed to have preregistered though. I think what I'll do is just stop in to Chopa next time I'm in Guadalajara. Supposedly, they can usually do you the same day. I'll let you all know how it goes.

The new diagnostic lab in Plaza Interlago, Imagenologia, does mammograms.  They also have ultrasound and other diagnostic capabilities. They have the best equipment in the area.

In terms of those motile mammo units, I used to use them but my doc wouldn't accept the films and had to do it over. Use a better facility.

Does the imaging place in Plaza Interlago do their tests on site? I thought you had to make an appt. through them and then have the mammo or imaging done in Guadalajara.

All the equipment is on-site. It's a diagnostic lab not an appointment center!

Wow. that is great. I speak some Spanish but not yet fluent :-((. Do they speak some English at the diagnostic lab?
