Want suggestion for a birthday present for a 4 year old Mexican girl.

Just turning four and has more toys than can be counted.

I know one good thing is to take her someplace special, etc.

I'm thinking of a jig-saw puzzle for her age range; a good challenge. anyone here know where I might find one Lakeside?

Walmart/Soriana toy section or the "dollar store" a couple of doors down from Bancomer in Ajijic is where I would look for a puzzle.

Give her a little bouquet of flowers. Give her parents a parent sized bouquet. This will be great. The Mexican Nationals love flowers.

Jig saw puzzle as the whole family/friends can do it.  Dollar store on Ajijic plaza has them. Can trade at LCS book room for different puzzle. The gift that keeps on giving.

I agree with books and set aside money for her schooling, supplies, uniforms, etc. Then when its time she'll have a headstart.

I saw lots of kiddy puzzles today at the "Dollar Store" by Bancomer in Ajijic. On the top shelf above the stationary supplies on the right.

my friend and i sponsored a family of 10 children in Joco. We found year after year they enjoyed coloring books (of course with colors crayons, chubby ones are best). they also loved clothes. any little girly girly things. We gave them dolls and doll buggies, however, they really didn't play with them. they loved the dollar things.we did give them puzzles that were the bigger simple ones which my friend brought from the States. I printed out coloring pages from the web as well. Every thing should be wrapped individually except the crayons of course. and mostly a really girly girl cake. you will have no idea how appreciative these children are. Like someone said love and lots of hugs will go a long way.

Already have a Guad trip to a faux "Chuck-E-Cheese" place.
