womens clothing

My husband & I drove down to Lake Chapala to see the area & look for possible casas to rent for the winter months.

Unfortunately I left a bag behind with my shorts, etc. So where can go to purchase some ladies sportswear in Lake Chapala or Ajijic? I went to Wal mart and didn't see anything I wanted to purchase.

Ladies could u please direct me a shop to purchase some items to wear here locally?

There is also Terry's Tiangus on the way into Chapala, going East. (used)
Alicia's clothing (new stuff) has a good selection of comfortable cottons.  Also in Chapala.  Don't know the exact new location.
Here in Ajijic, at the corner of 16 de Septiembre and the street going to the Malecon, there are three nice shops selling good new clothing for women.  All are on the corners.  Have a good shop!
Prices at all these are reasonable.

Terrible burden for a lady, having to buy new clothes. Your endorphin/ seratonin, WE etc. level will sky rocket. The local retail community is grateful. Strong work young lady. Kudos from my wife.

Not sure how to answer your comment. But am glad your wife sends herappreciation.

Stereotypes aside, I hate shopping --and clothes shopping most of all. You have my sympathy, Stewardess.

I'm not overjoyed at shopping, but do so as necessary. I think she'll probably have a nice experience, since the sales girls at the shops in Ajijic, at least, are not intrusive. They'll help find things if you ask them, but that's it.
So.............hope it works out as pleasantly as possible. Oh, and wash any bright colors separately with cold water and vinegar if you buy from Alicia's in Chapala After that, they're fine and wear like iron.

If all else fails, shop @ the Liverpool @ the Galleria mall in Guadalajara. It's a very large, multi-level department store with lots of brand name stores.
