EMERGENCY Surgeon needed

My dog was hit by a car and has a hernia and possible internal injuries. I carried him to the closest vet, who recommends surgery with gas rather than IV. My regular vet wants him to have a full service clinic in Guad. I can drive him there but worry about the rough ride. Anyway I need someone good, local or not. Names please, with phone number if possible. Thank you.

He is better I am thrilled to say, but I'll take him to maybe Ladron today to see if he needs surgery. He was not stable enough to go there yesterday but is now walking and drinking water and wagging his tail. Dra Berenice is my vet, I really like her but she's the one who said he should go to Guad. Thanks for asking, David.

Most vets here make house calls.

BEFORE an emergency is an excellent time to have your vet's after hours contact.

What did the other four surgeons at Ladron's do to occupy their time?

Most did not focus on surgery. 3 for sure.
