Getting settled Empty Getting settled

Post by nthensome Tue Nov 03, 2015 10:09 am

We are getting settled into our first week and I have a couple of questions. Is heartworm prevalent here? Is there anywhere to buy dry dog food that is not grain-based? NOB i bought mine at Costco. TIA!

I don't think there's much heartworm here, but I keep my dogs on the preventative anyway.
As for dogfood - if you don't want to drive to Costco, try lakeside express -- a great service. (http://www.lakesideexpress.com/costco/)
You could also check out the pet food place in Riberas - next to Ladrone's vet. clinic.

Also, Pet Place, in Plaza Interlago behind the Pemex.

They also sell Taste of the Wild. And no, heartworm is VERY uncommon here, and most Vets don't recommend giving the preventative.
