Pressurized water system

Will a pressurized water system work when plugged into a generator? We have no Tinaco and when we lose power, no water.

It will if the generator has the capacity to run the pump. Check both detail plates for their specifications.

What RVGRINGO writes is accurate. We have a 1/2 HP pump on our pressure system and power it with a small 1200 watt generator.

Problem is startup draw when pump is turned on not after it has run for a few seconds. 1/2 HP is a small pump. Bigger pump bigger generator.
