My girlfriend has a 2007 Honda CRV and was told by one mechanic that it was the compressor and would cost $10,000MX.

Anyone have any recommendations?

I would go to a dealer in Guad & get confirmed with a cost.

Car City has a good AC guy that rebuilds compressors. He did the one in my van for about $2000 pesos.

Rebuilt compressors and condensers are 4000 each here and they had to take my whole dash apart for the condenser. Compressor is easier to access
