Unable to connect to MyMedicare.gov

A couple of years ago, had no problem.  But now it just keeps trying to connect until it times out.

Queried the internet, and saw reference to needing Adobe Flash and others referenced needing Java.  So I installed the latest versions.

Can't see anyplace on my computer where I have prohibited the connection to this site.  Hasn't happened with any other sites and besides, I would have no reason to block that website.  What could be wrong?  TIA

I am in Oregon. The link provided by Sparks worked instantly for me. As did https://mymedicare.gov/

You're probably right Bob.  I guess just another attempt to foil those pesky Cartel members that want to check on their Medicare account !!

Make sure that you are using https instead of http

I just tried it with and without an IP hider set to the US. Cannot get in with a MX IP, can get in with a US IP.

I can connect with one (all small letters) from mexico but not the other.

Have no problem connecting to medicare.gov. It is mymedicare.gov that is the problem, either trying direct or once at medicare.gov trying the link to mymedicare. Strange. Can you suggest an IP hider that is simple and free? Thanks

Installed Mask My IP and confirmed I was now supposedly in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Still, nada. Can anyone here (MX), with their IP camouflaged, connect to MyMedicare.gov?
I'm thinking the website may be overloaded because they are in their "open enrollment" period till 12/7 however, I would still like to know.
And, another poster mentioned being actually in the US and connecting just fine, so that implies the site is not overloaded. So, I just don't understand, at this point. Ideas?

I just used http://www.medicare.gov/ with a Mexican IP and had no problems getting on the site. Clean the cache of your browser and reboot your computer.

Thanks Chango, but as I said earlier, I have no problem with Medicare.gov. It is MyMedicare.gov that is the problem. This site has your individual info and requires a password (once you are able to connect, of course)

Using Orbot (Tor) which gives me a US IP address, I was able to log on without a problem to mymedicare.gov.

Interesting ......... however, that particular "hider" only works on an Android mobile phone. Unfortunately, I am using a Windows based laptop. Thanks anyway. Anyone else try from a laptop?

Search Google for a Tor Windows program. You probably will have to configure any program to change the exit node to a United States exit.
