Mezcala Island

Here are some pics of Mezcala Island which is located about a 45 minute drive east of Chapala off the shores of the town Mezcala. It is a 20 minute boat ride from the pier down at the waterfront. The boat costs about 250 pesos and holds 9 people. This is where an old fort from the Mexican Revolution is located. Great trip. Well worth seeing.

I'm looking forward to going. A nice place for lunch before or after would be Focaccia. It's on the way. Funky decor and great pizzas. Lake view.
