Getting Chest Xrays

I 've had physicals @ Lakeside since 2006. Not once have they suggested a chest Xray. Now I find some MD's order them some don't! How often should we have CHEST X-RAYS?

Do you smoke cigarettes?

I've had one with every physical here.

If you are a smoker or were a smoker or if you have chronic bronchitis for seeing and making sure it hasn't turned into pneumonia. Probably definitely if you have COPD.

I've had one here every year as part of a physical exam.

Now that you mention it, I have never had a chest x-ray as part of a physical, either here or in the U.S.
Guess I missed your first post about it, Jim. Glad you repeated it. Now I can talk to my doctor about it.

Received several PM's from those that read this post before it disappeared, really confused how or why, but, Thank You for your support! I apologize to anyone that felt in was malicious rather than an honest opinion.

No need to apologize. I did indeed think it was malicious and totally unnecessary particularly in the general area.

Is that "honest opinion" enough for you Lady O..........  

Since I now know what the deleted comment was, it will come as no surprise to you that I did not find it malicious but honest. But, I understand where you are coming from.
