Index (3 X 5) Cards Needed

I've looking in the bigger stores and have not found index cards anywhere in the Lakeside area. Ideas?

There is an office supply store on the first floor of Buganvilia Plaza by El Torito. Also Luz Regalos on the plaza may have them.

Dollar Store on the plaza.

Understand they may be metic and not 3 inches by 5 inches. Let us know what you find.

I got some 6 months ago at the papelria diagonally across from superlake on the corner - they are behind the counter (as are half the thing in the store)- if you spanish is as poor as mine - just take a piece of paper folded to 3 x 5 -so they can figure out what you want.

Any papelería has them.

Half of the trick to living here is learning where things are. I've been here almost six years and thought I was pretty well dialed in. Nope. Today, I needed some party-ish decoration stuff so I went to the "party store". They had plenty of candy and piñatas and other junk food and stuff, but nothing to use for decorating. They sent me to a papelería. Live and learn.

Rosa, I am quickly learning what you say is true. I am also learning that remembering where I saw something (when I didn't need it) is also a challenge. I did find the cards, albeit not as thick of card stock as I had wanted but they will do the trick.

BTW ZedinMexico - it did have 3 X 5 on the package and they do in fact measure that. Surprised me!

and yesterday they were on the counter in the papeleria across from Superlake - and yeah - weaker card stock

The papelerias in Chapala carry the two sizes of index cards with varying card stock weights.
