A couple of Saturdays back, we made the drive from Guadalajara to Magdalena on the cuota and then to Tequila on the libre.  The countryside up that way is quite impressive and it was an enjoyable drive once we made it through the Saturday morning traffic in Guadalajara.  Condensed video of the drive:
