Re: Lake Agua Milpa
When did you go? It is about time he increased his prices.....cost of gas is killing him, not to mention he has to drive 80 miles round trip to buy gas for the boats. A 200 peso increase per day certainly no big deal.....costs us each.....2 people less than $ 7 USD per day. 1st increase in 5 years.

Re: Lake Agua Milpa
What are the pros and cons of staying at Laguna Santa Maria del Oro and trying to find someone to take the 2 of us fishing at Agua Milpa everyday for a week or so? Thanks....denver

Re: Lake Agua Milpa
The pro is that Santa Maria Del Oro is a beautiful place to stay. The tiny lake is pristine and great for swimming.
The con is that it will take you 1 1/2 hours to get from there to Agua Milpa every day. The best fishing is in the morning at sunrise so you would have to get up at 5:00am and make your way over there. Then there would be the expense of paying someone to drive you back and forth. It would likely be over $500 pesos each way.
