Toni's Restaurant

We had dinner last night at Toni's. English menu made it easy to order and we both had the pork chops in tamarin sauce. Excelente!
I ordered a side of waffle cut fries as I saw someone else eating them. Toni's would give Chick Filet a run for their money!
We have never gotten a bad meal at Toni's.

BTW, I am doing this for other newbies like us that are not familiar with the Lakeside area. We can learn together.

Just back from a 1.6 mile walk thru the village then out to Seis Esquinas and back.

Got some rolas de canela at the small bakery across from the Iglesia de Guadalupe in Seis Esquinas.  Sign of inflation--over the past year they went from 12p to 15p each; so very well worth it as they are giant and tasty.  

Next time you go could you bring me a dozen, I will freeze them, if you want the money I am El Jarden every morning for breakfast. Ken

I'll pm you before the next time I go, but it'll be awhile.  We alternate weekly between a few bakeries.  

Next up is Savta.  fyi, Savta is on Traitte for delivery.  Highly recommend their cardamom rolls.  

They have cinnamon rolls but not iced, high cinnamon content though.

I was by Savta today and bought their last 2 cinnamon rolls.

I was told that the owner of the wholesale bakery (and delivery service)  Cheliz, died.  He was the grandfather of the young owner of the place in Seis Esquinas.  I used to use Cheliz's for deliveries but not since 2020.

@Plan B---Has someone taken over the delivery service/wholesale??  Or is my info that the owner died, wrong?  

When was last time you got a delivery?
