Hazy today

Very hazy looking over the lake today. Does anyone know the source? Is there a fire somewhere?

Perhaps the cane fields are being burned west of Guad.

We drove into Guad at 8am yesterday, we could see the thick ring of pollution around the city and even the Rui hotel was barely visible from Lazaro Cardenes. On the way back to Chapala, we passed quite a few fields burning so perhaps that’s a contributing factor.

Same thing every year. It will get worse with May being the worst. Hot, dry, dusty, smokey. Get used to it.
