Enrollment ends Sept 28.



Description: We continue to expand the services we have for the community, so, now we set out to launch the course for the driving test and a trip to the SeMov in Guadalajara to process or renew the driver's license.

It is important that you register before Sept 28, because we have to schedule the appointment of your procedure online with sufficient anticipation.

Once you are enrolled, you will be sent an email with all of the instructions for this.

The driving test can be taken in English in Guadalajara. (only for new licenses).

I did my renewal on Tuesday for the trial run of 10 renewals and 5 newbies
Arrived before 9 am when they opened and all were done by 11 am.
Piece of cake - smoothest of the 3 renewals I've done here over the years.

Likewise did my renewal Tuesday.

The paperwork was sent in advance and approved so there were no surprises.

Left at 7:00 AM (yawn) back at 12:30. Smooth process.

Alfredo arranged for new licensees to avoid the driving test if they had a NOB license (current or expired) and showing your DIF card cut the price in half.

I recommend watching the young Mexicans take the driving tests as entertainment as you wait for everyone in your group to finish. The standard shift pickup trucks were scary. Haven't seen jack rabbit starts and stalling for many years. Most bumpers seems to have paint missing. I guess they don't have driving lesson schools here. It helps explain why you enjoy Guadalajara driving so much.
