Termites in equipale chairs

Two of our equipale chairs in our dining room have termites. ( The housekeeper pointed out the wood dust on the floor) The chairs are less than a year old. Is there something I can treat them with? Thanks!

They are not termites and yes there are products that will prevent this.  Check at Ferreteria Jara or similar type store, describe the problem, and they will help you.
(termites do not leave wood dust....it is another type of wood boring insect)

Are they termites of wood worms or beetle? If they are not termites buy the product at a ferreteria to kill the wood worms.. I inject each hole with a seringe and paint all the wood with it. Use gloves and a mask, that product is very toxic.. or ask one of the equipal people to treat the wood.. ask for mata pulilla from the ferreteria.. not sure the spelling is correct but it is close enough they will understand it..
