When I got a quote from him last year, it was more than the year before & that's what he said.

Probably so. But we renewed this April full coverage and it still was lower than last year. However, our health insurance has steadily gone up with the weak peso.

AXA is great for claims also. That is what counts!

O&A Investments AND INSURANCE.  They are in the lower level of Centro Laguna Mall directly across from WalMart, between Black Coffee and HSBC bank.

Their rates were very competitive with other local brokers.

Everyone there speaks excellent English and are very helpful.

They even provide a 24 hr. phone number to their company - not just to the Insurance company, that is answered in English.

That's what I meant when I said Lloyd's.... my error, sorry. The O'Rourke's used to own Lloyds then sold to Actinver and there was a non competition clause on the Investment part. So they concentrated on Insurance instead and now the non competition period is over...so Investments and Insurance. They certainly do know what customer service is and it would have been a bonus if they had taught it to Actinver.

Ok, I did not know about this! Lloyd's was my first insurance provider in 2004 and man where they high. I only kept them for a year.

I have heard nothing but good about Jesus Tejeda over the years! Never have heard one single complaint about him or AXA and they will be my first go-to for renewal. Thanks for the reminder!

Thanks everyone, this has been enlightening. Carry, have you talked to Jesus for your renewal or got a quote from him???

No, but I'm going to this week. I don't like the reviews of Qualitas.

I think we're getting gouged.
Had Qualitas for years with L&L but never a claim.
Please post what Jesus Teheda says and estimate.
Glad we all had this little chat, thanks for starting it.

Surprise! They gave me a new quote but I'm still going to check out the other options.

We got an extra discount from HDI Seguros and would be for $ 6,782.37 pesos
full coverage for one year plus the additional benefits.

Plase let me know if you have any question.

Thank you,
Parker Agency
Marisa

Wow. So sounds like Parker Insurance prices are not carved in stone and are negotiable. I don't like that much either.

Looking forward to hearing what you eventually end up doing. Thanks, Carry.

My brother's car insurance is with Parker. He thought the quote he received last month was high as well and asked if we could get a better price. I sent The Family Negotiator who managed to get a 10 % discount.
